Tyler’s Kindergarten Graduation Photoshoot at Disney Inspiration Lake

Last month, I organized a fun graduation photoshoot for my son Tyler and his classmates at Disney Inspiration Lake. The breeze was perfect that day, ideal for snapping photos and letting the kids have fun.

This was my second year doing a class photoshoot for Tyler and his friends. The kids, now a year older, were so much better at following directions this time. They were patient and full of energy.

I keep coming back to Disney Inspiration Lake for these shoots because it’s spacious, not too crowded, and the scenery is perfect for school photos. I picked three spots that felt just right for photos:

  • The Blue Wall: Its soft blue color pairs beautifully with the kids’ white uniforms, giving a pure, sweet vibe.

  • The Bridge: It gave the kids a fun path to run across and let loose a bit.

  • The Big Tree: To me, the tree symbolizes how much the kids have grown over time.

Like last year, I brought along some simple props—windmills, sunflowers, and a bubble machine—plus a couple of games to get the kids smiling and laughing.

With another school year in the books, I’m so grateful for these photoshoots. They’re not just about capturing pictures—they’re about giving parents and kids a chance to connect. I even got to chat with some parents and make new friends, which is rare with just “hi” and “bye” at pickups. Everyone was so kind and engaged, and we ended up with some fantastic class photos.
